North Florida Soaring Society

The North Florida Soaring Society (NFSS) is a non-profit club dedicated to providing safe flying facilities and equipment for its members. It encourages education and development as competent and safety-conscious aviators by offering ground and flight training in sailplanes. The club also promotes soaring locally and nationally through demonstrations and educational activities. They operate most weekends, weather permitting, offering Educational Flights in their aircraft, which include gliders and a tow plane. The club is located at 9300 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221.
