The U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of Aviation Services (OAS) is a government agency responsible for raising safety standards, increasing efficiency, and promoting economical operation of aircraft activities for the Department of the Interior. OAS manages and maintains a fleet of government-owned and commercially contracted aircraft to support various departmental missions such as wildland fire, wildlife monitoring, and geological surveys. It is not a flight school and does not offer aircraft rental or flight training to the general public.
