Beach Cities Aviation Academy

Beach Cities Aviation Academy is currently closed for a makeover and is opening soon at Jack Northrop Field in Hawthorne. The school aims to preserve the rich heritage of general aviation and will offer programs ranging from discovery flights and first lessons to a professional pilot pathway (private through commercial). They also plan to offer endorsements (tailwheel, high-performance, complex), proficiency and recurrency training, and an introduction to backcountry flying. Future plans include multi-engine, helicopters, aerobatics, warbirds, and aviation expeditions.
