A step-by-step guide to creating your aircraft listing, setting pricing, completing Stripe Connect onboarding, and getting your first booking.
The average general aviation aircraft sits idle more than 90% of the time. Listing on Avyo lets you offset ownership costs by renting to verified pilots in your area. Owners keep 90% of every booking — one of the highest payout rates in the industry.
Every Avyo account starts as a Renter. To list aircraft, upgrade to the Owner role from your dashboard settings. This unlocks the aircraft management tools, pricing controls, and the owner dashboard.
From your owner dashboard, click Add Aircraft. You'll provide:
Avyo uses Stripe Connect to handle payments and payouts. You'll verify your identity and link a bank account where payouts are deposited. The onboarding process takes about 5 minutes and follows Stripe's secure verification flow.
Upload your Certificate of Insurance (COI) or Policy Declaration page. Avyo's AI verification system extracts the policy expiration, covered tail numbers, and coverage amounts, then cross-references them with your registered aircraft. Most reviews complete in under a minute.
Use the availability calendar to block off dates for maintenance or personal use. Optionally configure dynamic pricing rules — seasonal multipliers for peak months or weekend premiums.
Once your aircraft details, Stripe Connect, and insurance are all verified, your listing goes live. Renters searching near your home base will see your aircraft in their results, complete with the full cost breakdown.
When a renter books your aircraft, you'll receive an email notification with the flight details. Payment is processed immediately and your 90% share is deposited to your linked bank account per Stripe's payout schedule (typically 2 business days).
